BTOP Committees,
Hello my name is Carl Watson, I would like for my company, Innovative Technology, to be considered to participate in the BTOP grant program. Innovative Technology trains unemployed people in South Carolina to prepare them for careers with AT&T, Charter Communications, Comcast Communications, and any other low voltage wiring companies. At the same time, we plan to hire 70% of all the trainees. We train using the BICSI ITS manual, we focus on the duties of BICSI installer 2, but realize when we go to take the test they can only take the Installer 1 certification, because of a two year in the field rule. Innovative Technology is registered for state, county and city procurement and actively seeking partnerships with commercial builders and custom home builders.
The BTOP program would be a very good asset for us and we would be a great asset for the program, we would have almost unlimited number of qualified workers and could handle all of South Carolina with pride and zeal.
