Broadband Researchers' Data Workshop

President Obama is committed to the expansion of broadband Internet access across the United States as a necessary part of the foundation for long-term economic stability and prosperity. The purpose of this public meeting is to provide an opportunity for the research community to propose, with rationale, the type of Internet usage data that could be usefully collected through scientific-based surveys conducted by the Census Bureau (e.g., the Current Population Survey Internet Use Supplement).

Time and Date:  The meeting will be held on June 3, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.   

Place: The meeting will be held at the United States Department of Commerce, 1401 Constitution Avenue, NW, Room 4830, Washington, DC 20230.
