Press Release: Commerce Department's National Telecommunications and Information Administration Renews Call for U.S. Business to Prepare to Transition to IPv6: The IPv6 Readiness Tool for Businesses is a comprehensive checklist for businesses preparing to deploy and adopt IPv6. The tool was developed by experts from industry and the Internet technical community in response to a call from U.S. Chief Technology Officer Aneesh Chopra at an IPv6 workshop hosted by NTIA in September 2010. Federal Register Notice: Revision to the Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Radio Frequency Management: NTIA updated the version of the Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Radio Frequency Management with which Federal agencies must comply when requesting use of the radio frequency spectrum. (145 KB PDF file) First Interim Progress Report on the Ten Year Plan and Timetable: This report documents the actions and accomplishments completed in the execution and implementation of the Ten Year Plan to identify and make available 500 megahertz of spectrum for expanded wireless broadband use, and summarizes the actions to date resulting from the recommendations on the Fast Track Study. It covers the period from October 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011.
