We noted with interest your Docket No. 060519136-6136-01^[1] requesting comments on The Continued Transition of the Technical Coordination and Management of the Internet Domain Name and Addressing System.  In the context of your Question 7, on enhanced cooperation, I offer the following information.

ITU has a mandate from its Member States, as defined in Plenipotentiary Resolutions 102 (Management of Internet domain names and addresses) and 133 (Role of administrations of Member States in the management of internationalised (multilingual) domain names), to undertake certain activities related to management of Internet names and addresses, including to liase and cooperate with appropriate entities.

Reports regarding those activities are submitted annually to ITU Council and can be found at:
