Subject: The internet

I use the internet/www often but I am not completely aware of all the issues here. However, from what I know I feel I can give this opinion.

The internet is worldwide, therefore it should not be governed by just one country.

It should not be seen by companies (such as AT&T) as a potential source of more profit at the cost of the individual or small business user.

A two-tier internet better serves no-one but big business; we must remember that the internet is for the individuals too.

It should be a way of bringing the world together and as such should be a place of free speech – free in every sense of the word.

People should not be discriminated against because of lack of money, which is the way the US appears to be going.

Thank you
