Subject: Internet governance To whom it may concern,
I am a British citizen concerned about the wellbeing of the
Internet
and read on Digg that we could voice our views on this subject.
I feel strongly that the Internet's free speech and equality
is an
example of what society should be like. I am concerned that
allowing
the telcos to divide the Internet could eventually lead to
a situation
like China's, where the entire Internet is firewalled and policed,
which is an utterly sickening state of affairs.
I would ask the US government to stand up at this time and
protect
free speech - it is one of the most admirable aspects of your
great
nation.
Thank you for your time.
