Subject: Suggestions for the Internet
I've seen many sites shut down because of threats of legal
actions by the MPA and such. Shutting
down sites that offer to show you how to play a song on guitar
is ridiculous. Making people stop
posting their own original films featuring certain music is
ridiculous. That's the same thing as
slapping the population and taping its mouth shut. The Internet
was made to facilitate the flow
of information and knowledge. Right now, the Internet is being
bullied around by these greedy,
money-seeking organizations who need to be given morals. These
companies should be apologizing.
My first suggestion for running the Internet: Do not let this
faucet of information get plugged
up.
My second suggestion is to just have better protection for
the people involving cyber crimes.
Most of the time, these criminals get away without leaving
a trail behind to follow. If there
was a way to have better security with minimum risk of liberties,
I would greatly appreciate it.
It would save millions of dollars from fraud and losses.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my suggestions,
and I look forward to seeing them
implemented in the future.
Sincerely,
