Subject: My commentson how the Internet should be run
My area of expertise is website design and hosting.
The number 1 problem we have experienced in the last
two years is domain
"resellers." This problem has gotten out of
control and must be fixed.
Essentially, what happens is a domain is commonly one
or two steps removed
from a responsible registrar. A reseller buys bulk registrations
from a
certified registrar and then is in between the domain
owner and the
registrar. Low support standards, inexperience and technical
ineptitude
result in domains that are VERY difficult to change,
move to new
registrars, etc. This must be investigated and resolved.
Thank you,
