Subject: Concerning ICANN
Regarding the future of ICANN,
The US should NOT give up control of the internet DNS.
The
US maintains a higher standard for free speech rights
compared with the
countries requesting this control. In addition, the UN
has publicly
stated in writing that it wishes to place filters on
what can be passed
over the internet. It would directly harm US citizens'
right of free
speech to pass control to other nations.
Best Regards,
