From: "Michael Grigg" <mikegrigg@worldnet.att.net> Ladies and Gentlemen, It is critical that the U.S. and ICANN maintain control
of the Internet. We the U.S. created the Internet and
it is the number one force in commerce and business.
I have been in the Telecommunications / Data Communications
/ Internet Industry for 36 years. I have consulted in
many countries around the world. Believe me you do not
want the control given to the U.N. and various countries.
The freedom, the efficiency and the organization will
be lost. The Internet will become hopelessly politicized.
We the U.S. will also be giving up yet another technological
and business advantage. We need to constantly improve
here in the U.S. no doubt, however the bureaucracy, corruption
and inefficiency I've seen in countries around the world
is appalling. Don't let the Internet go.......it's an
important and precious resource. All the Best, Mike Grigg |
