Subject: Internet Management
Hello,
I am emailing you to comment on "how the internet
should be run".
The internet should be left as a non-controlled, non-biased,
free-enterprise
environment. The ICANN should keep managing DNS and the
internet itself, and
the United States should keep all the internet management
installations on
United States soil. The USA funded and powered the internet
at the
beginning, and has the right to keep it on their soil
(not the individual
servers, the actual DNS info and such.) Please don't
let the internet turn
into a big biased atmosphere where bribes and payment
can be taken to limit
what a consumer views. And please don't let an absolutely
powerless
organization like the EU and the UN try to convince the
US that the whole
world deserves rights to the DNS records held on the
US soil.
