Subject: Internet = freedom

To Whom It May Concern:

The internet equates to the last bastion of freedom for anyone, not only the
US. I don't have all the information at the moment, but this is a decision
that affects everyone, young and old, US or not. Whatever political party
would even attempt to start regulating the internet any more than the
current situation, is doomed to fail. I'm sure they've already thought of
that, but it still boggles everyone's mind. Who thinks they can get away
with this? The internet is not the tobacco or alcohol industry, its not
anywhere near damaging to us as a people. The internet's inception was when
college professors that needed to share information quickly, some quick
computer scientists came up with the genius idea, it has now spread to
everywhere possible. I'm sending this e-mail because the internet is free
and not in direct control of anyone (not the service charge, but that's
because physical capital always has a price). This e-mail isn't that well
thought out and ideas are simply pouring out, but I at least want to be one
of the voices that said "no" to this travesty of an idea.

Cheers.
