ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON THE PUBLIC INTEREST OBLIGATIONS OF DIGITAL TELEVISION BROADCASTERS SUBMITS FINAL REPORT TO THE VICE PRESIDENT

Today, the Advisory Committee on the Public Interest Obligations of Digital Broadcasters submitted its final report to the Vice President. The report, "Charting the Digital Broadcasting Future" is available on the Advisory Committee's website at www.ntia.doc.gov/pubintadvcom/pubint.htm. The National Telecommunications and Information Administration, an agency within the Commerce Department that serves as a principal advisor to the President and the Executive Branch on domestic and international telecommunications, serves as the secretariat for this Advisory Committee.
