Third Public Meeting to Develop Global Positioning System and Ultrawideband Transmission System Operational Scenarios

Summary: The Office of Spectrum Management (OSM) of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) will host a third public meeting to develop the operational scenarios to be considered in the assessment of potential interference to Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers from ultrawideband (UWB) transmission systems. It is anticipated that this will be the final public meeting. Participants should be prepared to submit and discuss any operational scenario-related issues to be considered by NTIA in conducting its analysis of the measurement data.

Date: The third public meeting will be held from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Thursday December 7, 2000.
