The Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration announces the launching of, on behalf the Administration, the Wireless Innovations in Communications Initiative (WICI). One of the objectives of this initiative includes promoting innovative developments in communications technologies and facilitating their timely application to satisfy actual communication needs in both the Federal agencies and the private sector.
