David Bolt:
Digital Divide Update

David Bolt, Executive Producer at Studio Miramar, produced the first television programs and wrote the first book on the Digital Divide. His PBS series entitled Digital Divide: Computers and Our Children's Future was broadcast nationally in primetime on PBS earlier this year and a companion book with the same title is now available. Over ten million people have seen the series and the companion website (www.pbs.org/digitaldivide) has had millions of hits.

The Ford and Gates Foundations sponsored a speaking tour for David in conjunction with the broadcast of the series that took him to dozens of cities and towns. Hear David recount his experiences and listen to a sneak preview of the next episodes of the Digital Divide series, planned to air on PBS in early 2002.
