Kathryn Dansky

Kathryn Dansky is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Administration at Pennsylvania State University. She received her Ph.D. degree from the Ohio State University in organizational behavior and health administration and the M.B.A. degree from Ohio University.

Dr. Dansky’s research interests focus on management issues in health care organizations. She is the Principal Investigator of the TeleHomecare Project, a demonstration project that is evaluating the effectiveness of telecommunications (video visits) in home health care.

A graduate of the Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing, Dr. Dansky is a registered nurse, and was a co-founder and director of the Athens County Visiting Nurse Association in Athens, Ohio.

Dr. Dansky presently serves on the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Regent's Advisory Council for southeast and central Pennsylvania and is a member of their task force to develop mentoring programs. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Home Health Agencies.
