Harry Davis

Harry Davis is the Roger L. and Rachel M. Goetz Distinguished Service Professor of Creative Management at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. A member of the University of Chicago faculty since 1963, Dr. Davis' research interests include the application of behavioral science theory and methodology to the areas of consumer behavior; advertising; new product development; and industrial buying.

He has served as Deputy Dean for the M.B.A. Program and as Professor, Behavioral Science, European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (Brussels). He is a member of the American Marketing Association, the American Sociological Association, and the American Association for Public Opinion Research. He has also served as Director of the Golden Rule Insurance Company, Harnischfeger Industries, Peter Martin Associates, and the National Opinion Research Center.

Harry Davis received his undergraduate degree in sociology from Dartmouth College, and his graduate degrees in marketing and sociology from Northwestern University.
