Laurie Lipper is Co-Founder and Co-Director
of The
Children's Partnership. She has more than twenty
years experience in applying communications strategies
nationally to advocate for social issues. Her career
has included serving as founding Vice President for Communications
at Children Now,
where she developed a model communications program in
children's issues.
She was Deputy Campaign Manager for a California
proposition campaign, and a marketing director for
USA for Africa and Hands Across America. She also
served as Director of The
Nation Institute, a New York-based organization
that promotes civil liberties and debate on foreign
and domestic policy.
Laurie has co-authored a number of reports on children's
issues, particularly in the area of technology. She
received her undergraduate degree from the University
of California at Santa Barbara.
