William H. Hays is project manager of the Vermont
Millennium Arts Partnership, which works with new
and existing organizations to develop and maintain an
effective, statewide, classroom-based exchange between
K-12 students and professional artists, musicians, composers,
writers and actors. He received his B.A. from Virginia
Polytechnic Institute and his B.F.A. in sculpture and
drawing from the University of Alaska.
From 1993 to 1996, he was Co-Executive Director of
the Stratton Arts Festival (Stratton Mountain, VT),
where he managed and coordinated the annual exhibition,
education program, and the retail operation. His oil
and watercolor paintings have been shown in galleries
throughout New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Vermont,
and Maine.
