Dr. Bernadette McGuire-Rivera heads NTIA's Office
of Telecommunications and Information Applications (OTIA).
As such, she is the principal advisor to the Assistant
Secretary on information infrastructure matters. OTIA
is also the home of the Technology Opportunities Program
and NTIA's Public
Telecommunications Facilities Program.
Before joining NTIA, Dr. McGuire-Rivera was the Vice-President
of Planning and Research for the National Association
of Broadcasters and has held a number of positions
in public broadcasting.
