Marie Sayles

Marie K. Sayles, brings over fifteen years of technology industry and education experience to her role as Director of Education for Zeum in San Francisco. Her background includes classroom instruction, software design and evaluation, computer network design, and technical support and training for schools, businesses, and non-profits.

Prior to joining Zeum, she spent two years developing Internet-based curriculum for teachers for a TOP-supported project in Harlem, New York. While in New York City, she also earned a Master's of Science in Educational Technology from Bank Street College of Education. Marie's role at Zeum, an art and technology center for youth, is to develop and direct the educational programs including: collaborative school projects; professional development for educators; youth camps and workshops, and the school field trip program. She sees Zeum's mission in the San Francisco Bay Area education community as a bridge to bringing arts and technological innovation integration into the classroom curriculum.
