Janvier Slick

Janvier Slick has worked for the Oregon State Office for Services to Children and Families for 20 years in protective services and other child welfare related positions. As the Program Coordinator for the Child Abuse Multidisciplinary Intervention (CAMI) Account, she is responsible for implementing and monitoring a legislatively authorized statewide grant program that distributes funds to multidisciplinary teams in each of Oregon's counties. These moneys are available to support programs for investigation and prosecution of child abuse in a child-centered manner. In this position Jan sought funds to implement a telemedicine network that would connect medical providers at remote sites with experts to consult on diagnosing child abuse and neglect.

Jan has an M.S.W. from Portland State University and an M.S. from the University of Oregon.
