Cathy Smith is the Cardiac Outcomes Manager
in the Home Health Agency at North
Mississippi Medical Center, where she manages the CHF
Telehome Care Project.
She received her BSN Mississippi University for Women
in 1984, and has worked at the North Mississippi Medical
Center for the past 15 years. She has 15 years of experience
in Emergency Nursing and 6 years in Home Care.
At the North Mississippi Medical Center, she is responsible
for staff education, cardiac consultations, and telehealth
management/coordination. She is currently a member
of the American Telemedicine Association and spoke
at this association’s 2001 International Convention
on the subject of telehealth.
