NTIA has released a Report to Congress mandated by the Children's Internet Protection Act of 2000 (CIPA). According to the report, currently available technology measures have the capacity to meet most, if not all, of educational institutions' needs. The report also recommends that vendors offer training services to educational institutions, and that the definition of "technology protection measures" be expanded to encompass a wider array of technologies.
