CORPORATION re INTERNET
1. It is our impression that proposals have been made pertaining to the formation
of a board of directors for the new organisation responsible for the
administration of the Internet Domain Name and Address Systems Policy.
2. The purpose of this communication is to draw your attention to the fact that
the proposed constitution of the Board, notwithstanding such suggestions inIthe 5 June 1998 White Paper:
* fails to reflect any representation for and on behalf of the African continent;
* does not seem to represent any international trade mark holders on the new board.
3. It will therefore be appreciated if you direct the attention of the appropriate authorities to our concerns.

INTERNATIONAL NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION TO ADMINISTER POLICY
FOR THE INTERNET NAME AND ADDRESS SYSTEM
The Internet Domain Names, in my opinion is an international problem and has to be treated as such. I read with interest the US Government, give 5 "White Paper and I agree with the contents. However, it is disturbing to note that no one from the content of Africa is represented on the board of the new organisation. The impression which was created was that thee would be board of the new organisation would be geographically/regionally representative.
In view of the above, it is my submission that the board be geographically/regionally representive.
