Subject:   filtering and internet saftey.

I am a college professor. I have a neighbor who moved to our city from
Richmond. Her son was in a public highschool in Richmond. He was sitting in
a computer lab class when another student brought up pornography on his
commputer. The student told his mom about it. He turned awaay immediately
but the little he did see was disgusting to him. His parents are trying to
teach him to respect women. This incident was extremely upsetting to the
family. Obviously, the filtering system at the school was disabled or not
working well.
