Maryland Department of Information Technology

Maryland will use its existing Statewide Interoperability Executive Committee (SIEC) and the recently established SIEC Broadband Working Group to implement the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP).  The State intends to update its Statewide Communication Interoperability Plan as part of the process, and plans to utilize the Maryland Association of Counties, Maryland Municipal League and its five existing Interoperability Regions as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.
