Vermont

Vermont Department of Public Safety

Vermont will establish the Vermont Public Safety Broadband Network Commission (Commission) to implement the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP). The Vermont Department of Public Safety will provide programmatic support. Commission members will be local emergency services providers appointed by the government. The State plans to utilize Commission members, the State’s 13 local emergency planning committees,  public meetings and survey tools, as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.
