Virginia Department of Emergency Management

Virginia will use its Statewide Interoperability Executive Committee (SIEC) to implement the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP).  The State will use the SIEC, its seven existing Regional Preparedness Advisory Committees for Interoperability, and state public safety associations, including Virginia Fire Chiefs and Virginia Chiefs of Police, as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.
