Wisconsin will use its existing Interoperability Council (IC) to implement the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP).  The State will use the IC, intrastate regional committees, and the Public Safety Wireless Broadband Workgroup as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.  Through SLIGP, Wisconsin plans to engage it’s 11 federally recognized tribes in public safety broadband planning efforts.
