NTIA encourages the voluntary participation of consumer electronics retailers to ensure the success of the Coupon Program. NTIA's Final Rule is intended to be reasonable and practical, conducive to the broadest participation of consumer electronics retailers on whose commercial expertise the Coupon Program relies.

NTIA intends to administer an effective and efficient Coupon Program, resulting in high customer satisfaction with a minimum of waste, fraud, and abuse. To become a certified retailer for the Converter Box Coupon Program, interested retailers must comply with regulations described in §301.6 of the Final Rule.

Consumer electronics retailers interested in participating in the program should go to www.ntiadtv.gov or call 1-866-296-1107 for additional information and to sign up as a participating retailer.
