AGENDA FOR NTIA'S SEPTEMBER 4TH FORUM ON INTERNET TELEPHONY

WASHINGTON, DC --The Commerce Department's National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) will hold a day-long forum on the use of the Internet to make telephone calls and to explore the new communications opportunities this technology presents. The forum will take place on Thursday, September 4, 1997 at the National Press Club in Washington. The following is a schedule of the day's activities:

The forum is free and is open to the public. NTIA will try to accommodate persons who want to participate in all or in part of the forum; however, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
