Idaho

State of Idaho Military Division

Idaho will utilize its existing Public Safety Broadband Advisory Group, Idaho FirstNet Program Manager, and Idaho Bureau of Homeland Security – Public Safety Communications Branch to implement the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP).  The State plans to use its six existing district interoperability governance boards (DIGB) as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.  Tribal representatives have actively participated in emergency management workshops, and Idaho will leverage the DIGBs to engage its four federally recognized tribes in public safety broadband planning efforts.
