Commonwealth of Kentucky – Finance Cabinet
Kentucky will use its existing Kentucky Wireless Interoperability Executive Committee (KWIEC) to implement the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP), with the recently established Kentucky Public Safety Broadband Working Group providing technical support. The Commonwealth intends to update its Statewide Communication Interoperability Plan as part of the process, and plans to formalize regional interoperability groups as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.
