Missouri

Missouri Department of Public Safety

Missouri will establish a new governing body for the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP), the Missouri Statewide Interoperability Governing Body, and intends to update its Statewide Communications Interoperability Plan during the process.  The State plans to use its nine existing Regional Homeland Security Oversight Committees and two Urban Area Security Initiatives as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.  Missouri intends to host numerous regional outreach events to further educate local users about the National Public Safety Broadband Network and solicit their input.
