WASHINGTON – The Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) on Wednesday filed, on behalf of the Biden Administration, in support of the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) creation of a narrowly tailored Internet routing security reporting requirement.

WASHINGTON – Today, the Federal Communications Commission voted on a proposal that would require mobile providers to unlock customers’ cell phones within 60 days of activation. NTIA has advocated for such a policy for over a decade, both with the Library of Congress and the FCC.

Rhode Island Requested Access to BEAD Funds Totaling Over $108 Million
