The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) invites you to join us in Minneapolis for an interactive workshop to examine and learn from successful broadband projects across the Upper Midwest. This is the second in a series of community broadband workshops being hosted by NTIA, part of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
The day-long program will bring together state and local leaders, federal officials, industry representatives, community advocates and others working to close the digital divide in the Upper Midwest to explore effective roadmaps for expanding broadband capacity and utilization across the region.
Using network infrastructure build-outs and digital inclusion programs from Minnesota and surrounding states - including projects funded by NTIA’s Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) and State Broadband Initiative (SBI)
Program - the agenda will present best practices and lessons learned in the field. It will feature a series of practical discussions focused on everything from business models and funding options to public/private partnerships and stakeholder engagement.
The working agenda is below, and it will be updated as more details become available. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. You may register using this link.
As workshop materials become available, they will be posted here.
