Statement of Assistant Secretary Davidson on the FCC’s Net Neutrality Proceeding
WASHINGTON – Today, the Federal Communications Commission approved a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to reinstate open Internet protections. The following statement can be attributed to Alan Davidson, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information and NTIA Administrator:
“The Internet is the essential tool for communications in our modern world. NTIA has long championed an open Internet at home and abroad. The FCC’s rulemaking is an opportunity to restore strong net neutrality protections for everyone in America, and we look forward to engaging in this proceeding.”
