The wireless industry is beginning to plan for the development of 6G, and the U.S. has already partnered with like-minded partners in establishing joint principles to shape the future of this next mobile generation.

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) is excited to share information about its recently released second Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Public Wireless Supply Chain Innovation Fund (Innovation Fund). This NOFO focuses on Open Radio Commercialization and Innovation, furthering the program's commitment to advancing open wireless network technologies. The NOFO 2 Information Session, held May 17 in Mclean Virginia, provided a forum for potential applicants, their partners, and industry members to learn more about the Innovation Fund and the program's second NOFO and ask the program team questions. NTIA asked participants to send the questions they would like addressed during the open Q&A by May 14, 2024 to the Innovation Fund email.
