The Broadband Infrastructure Deployment project proposes to install fiber and fixed wireless to directly connect 255 unserved Native American households with qualifying broadband service with up to 1000 Mbps symmetrical speeds.

The project proposes the following activities designed to improve access to, and use of, broadband services among Tribal members:
- Construct a wireless tower to serve Tribal Economic development activities, public safety, and utilities.
- Construct a 45-mile middle-mile buried fiber network.
- Install an XGS-PON last-mile network to connect 255 unserved Native American households to qualifying broadband service at speeds ranging from 25/3 Mbps to 1000 Mbps symmetrical.
- Outfit communications towers with radio equipment to provide 2.5 GHz fixed wireless to outlying areas.
- Procure and install customer premises equipment.
This project will improve broadband connectivity for members of the San Ildefenso Pueblo.
The project intends to benefit all unserved San Ildefonso Pueblo households, businesses, and community anchor institutions.
